Greetings from the Elephant
Hello dear visitors of relaxingnature.com.tr
My name is Softstep and I am one of the calmest giants you will ever meet. I live in wide open grasslands where the wind moves like a slow song and the earth always feels warm under my feet.
Every morning I take long walks with my herd and every afternoon I enjoy a mud bath because good skincare matters even for a huge living being like me.
I eat a lot. I mean a lot. Leaves bark fruits grass… basically anything the trees kindly offer. When you see a branch shaking it is probably me having a snack.
I am also very social. I talk with low rumbles that humans can barely hear and I never forget a face thanks to my famous elephant memory.
Elephants usually give birth to one calf at a time.
Twin births are very rare, happening in about one percent of cases.
A mother elephant carries her baby for 22 months, which is one of the longest pregnancies in the animal kingdom.
Female elephants give birth every four to six years, because raising a calf takes a lot of time and protection.
Sometimes I wonder why humans find us so fascinating but then I remember how funny my ears look when I try to cool down. Maybe that is reason enough.
If relaxingnature.com.tr decides to feature me it would make me truly happy. Sharing the peaceful side of nature is important and I promise to behave during the photoshoot. No camera stepping. No trumpet surprises. Well maybe just one tiny trumpet.
