The Lion Speaks
Hello everyone I am a lion the so called king of the jungle but honestly most days I am more like the sleepy king of the savannah. People imagine me roaring all day but in reality I spend a lot of time napping under the hot sun trying not to get sand in my mane.

Sometimes I attempt a dramatic roar just to remind the zebras I am still in charge but they usually just keep grazing and ignore me.

I live in the wide open savannah where tall grasses sway with the wind and the sunsets are spectacular. I wander through the plains sit under acacia trees and occasionally chase my tail for fun.

If you hear a deep rumble in the distance it might be my stomach or my dramatic practice roar either way do not worry.

My diet is mostly meat and sometimes I get lucky with a zebra or an antelope but hunting is not always as glamorous as it sounds. I prefer to look majestic while resting but sometimes I trip over my own paws and I just laugh at myself.

We usually have two or three cubs. They are small playful and endlessly curious. They follow me everywhere learning to roar and play but most importantly learning how to nap properly under the sun which is an art in itself.

Humans here is my advice Enjoy your naps appreciate the little things in life and remember that even kings need rest. Respect nature and the creatures living in it we all share this beautiful world.
