From the Monkey’s Perspective
I am a monkey living deep in the heart of the jungle. My home is where sunlight filters through layers of leaves and the air carries the soft rhythm of nature. We monkeys thrive in tropical forests because the trees are our roads, their branches our shelter, and the forest itself is the pulse of our lives.

Our primate family is a big and diverse one. Gorillas are known for their strength. Orangutans carry a quiet wisdom. Chimpanzees impress everyone with their intelligence. And monkeys like me are curious, lively, quick to learn, and deeply connected to every sound and movement around us.

Our young ones are the treasures of our world. We carry them on our backs, protect them as we leap through branches, and teach them the language of the forest. Raising a baby requires patience, affection, and awareness. The jungle is our school and we are both students and teachers.

As for our diet, we are fond of fruit. Sweet and juicy tropical fruits are our favorite. But we eat more than that. Leaves, insects, nuts, sometimes small plants… We appreciate whatever the forest gives us and we share it with the troop.

Now let me tell you something that has been bothering me. I have been watching humans for a long time. Your hands are always holding those small glowing screens. Your eyes are locked on them instead of the real world. You no longer hear the forest. You miss the songs of birds the whisper of leaves the flow of rivers.

So here is my friendly message to you: Put your phone down for a while. Lift your head. Take a breath. Look around. Life is not inside that screen. Real peace is in the trees in the sky in the wind touching your skin.
